A Paddling near the Thames at Night of the Cane
I’m just coming down from a fantastic weekend in London and going to Night of the Cane on Saturday with my lovely boyfriend Marco. In the morning I went shopping and managed to buy myself a couple of designer dresses and we booked into a top London hotel. I really wanted to shell out on an expensive new handbag that I saw too but despite my pleading Marco marched me out of the shop and reminded me that I need to cure my appetite for impulsiveness until I can afford it. Speaking of which I am a bit disappointed I succumbed to fried breakfasts,a kebab and lots of cappuccino’s so I need to lose a few pounds now before my next spanking shoot. I am detoxing today but the 5 am workouts and 3 mile runs will start again later this week when I’m back from London. Someone I worked with recently commented that I look more wholesome now and like ‘ the girl next door’ type but I personally don’t like feeling this fat (the pic was taken from the previous weekend’s ‘Thrill Bill’ shoot) so I’m trying to balance so that I have enough energy and don’t feel washed up and lethargic from under eating. It’s hard being a model and not many people really understand how much work, concentration and willpower goes into all we do. People just see the final results and not what goes on behind the scenes, and I think as an Actress and a Bishop (I mean model lol!) I deserve all I get when it comes around because it’s tough work.
At Night of the Cane I managed to meet up with some friends and pick up a full bottom paddle that was kindly made for me by my friend Roger who took great delight in road testing it as I had promised. I must admit it packs a major swat and although he only gave me ten spanks or so he soon had me wriggling around wondering what possessed me to let him lose with it on my bottom! Having my new silver party dress pulled up and being paddled at NOTC in front of a mini audience was an experience I haven’t had since I last went in 2006 and was spanked over the knee of a ‘teacher’ I’d upset by treading on his toes!. Roger gave me an instruction sheet with the paddle which reads ‘the poor hapless person who is about to feel the result of all my hard work should be positioned with a “well rounded” bottom, as otherwise the edge of the paddle might cause extra, unnecessary discomfort”! He also added “best results will be obtained if the paddle is applied repeatedly, and with some considerable force, to the bare bottom”! I’ve got a heavier drilled wooden paddle that I had across my skirt recently but this new paddle is more of a stingy one rather than a heavier thud and should be used on a bare bottom (i.e. likely to be mine every time i think!).
The caning competition was excellent and deservedly won by Andi Switch and Parker who played a fab comedy scene from Eliza Doolittle. My friend Paul and Nicole Rainer came second with a brilliant Marilyn and JFK spank sketch that had them turning the tables on each other too. I didn’t compete this year despite having some offers to perform but think I may actually enter next year now and see if I can get this on my CV, because it is one thing I’d like to try. I’m finalising arrangements with a spanking website to appear in some new movies very soon and discussing another big movie project, as well as being generally busier in the scene lately, but NOTC is a different kind of personal challenge and you know me and gauntlets 
We got back to the hotel around 2am and although I didn’t drink as much I was overtired and talking silly teen like gibberish so it was best we just went to bed. It was too late to be dealt with over my latest misbehavior, but in the morning I was then spanked across his knee for messing up the date of NOTC in my diary and causing him to lose money on it and overspending on things I didn’t really need right now. He didn’t use my new paddle just his hard hand, and only a few hard spanks but it was enough to make my bottom feel a bit sore.
You can just still see my cane stripes from last Wednesday in the picture so maybe I should have entered the caning competition after all and had them re-glazed and filled in?! If i do enter next time I will be choosing my partner very carefully though. Auditions may commence once I have recovered and my bottom is a clean canvas again. The hazards of being a bad girl I guess but its great to be back..ouch!!!

Just wanted to say that it was an absolute pleasure to “road-test” my paddle on you at NOTC
Was it only around 10 strokes? I must have been feeling kind as I don’t usually let anyone off that lightly! lol
But as always, it was even more of a pleasure to meet you again. I’m sorry we didn’t get longer to chat, but it was such a fun-packed evening, and there was another young lady there who needed a very sound paddling indeed!
As for the caning competition next year - that sounds fun! Do let me know the date and time of the auditions
I know enough about the theatre (and let’s face it, the caning competition is pure theatre!!) to know that lots and lots of rehearsal is the only way to success! lol

Dear Emma,
As a regular reader of your blog I think that I will have to go to the Night of the Cane next year. I have seen flyers for it in the past but never got round to going. I would love to do a scene with someone and be in contention for the prize, preferably one where both participants cane each other at different stages of the action. I did a show like that once with a young lady I had just met at a BDSM event. I played the role of an arrogant and lecherous bank manager spanking a young client whose account was in the red (as was her bottom). First I spanked her with her leather bound cheque book and then the cane. Then she turned the tables on me and accused me of stealing money from her account and after appealing to the audience she prevailed on me to bend over a bench and get caned to the delight of the audience. It was a better performance than my role as Cassius in our school production of “Julius Caesar”. It is always a pleasure to spank or cane someone when you know they will reciprocate in good time, but then I am sure you know that better than I do.
